Author Guidelines

The Journal of Translational Health & Precision Medicine publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed research that advances translational and precision health. Authors are expected to ensure that their submissions are original, ethically conducted, and aligned with the journal’s aims and scope.

Article Types

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared in clear, concise English and organized using a standard scientific structure, as appropriate for the article type. Authors are responsible for ensuring accuracy, clarity, and completeness of all content.

A typical manuscript should include:

Title page
Abstract
Keywords
Main text
References
Figures and tables (where applicable)
Supplementary materials (if any)

Translational Relevance Statement

All submissions must include a mandatory Translational Relevance Statement. This statement should clearly describe how the research contributes to clinical practice, public health, diagnostics, policy development, or implementation in real-world health settings.

Manuscripts that do not demonstrate clear translational relevance may be returned to authors without external peer review.

Ethical Requirements

Authors must comply with internationally recognized ethical standards. Where applicable, submissions must include:

Approval from relevant ethics committees (IRB/IACUC)
Statements regarding informed consent and patient confidentiality
Disclosure of conflicts of interest and funding sources

Research involving human participants or animals must adhere to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and relevant institutional and national guidelines.

Reporting Standards

Authors are encouraged to follow appropriate reporting guidelines, including but not limited to:

CONSORT (clinical trials)
PRISMA (systematic reviews and meta-analyses)
STROBE (observational studies)
ARRIVE (animal research)

Adherence to reporting standards enhances transparency, reproducibility, and research quality.

References

References should be accurate, complete, and formatted consistently. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all cited works are appropriately referenced and that reference lists correspond to in-text citations.

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by a double-blind peer review process conducted by independent experts. Editorial decisions are based on scientific merit, ethical compliance, and translational relevance.

Open Access and Fees

The Journal of Translational Health & Precision Medicine currently charges no submission fees and no article processing charges (APCs).

Any future introduction of APCs will be communicated transparently on the journal website in advance and will apply only to manuscripts submitted on or after the announced effective date.

Submission System

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system. Authors should ensure that all required information and files are provided during submission to facilitate efficient editorial processing.
